In 2022, I received my master's degree with a thesis
on the urban renovation of the former industrial complex
of Rifredi in Florence, with supervisor Prof. Arch. Fabrizio
Rossiprodi. The research focused on the theme
of industrial archaeology, exploring the history and icons
of reference from the 18th century era to the present.
The aim of the project is the enhancement
of an area that has been disused for more than 40 years, covering
26,000 square meters and houses a former industrial plant
of 8,000 square meters. Despite numerous attempts
of redevelopment, the area is in a state of degradation and
disuse.

The project aims to revitalize a forgotten area,
transforming it into a dynamic multifunctional center,
beating heart of innovation and community. Within
this space, services, areas and activities designed to
meet the various needs of the city, with a strong
commitment to environmental, economic and
social. The aim is not only to redevelop the neighborhood,
but to create a real reference point for the
citizens, a place where the industrial history meets
with the future, contributing to the revival of the entire area and
to its enhancement over time.
